This study aims to determine the effect of village apparatus competence and community participation on the accountability of village fund management in Pamboang District, Majene Regency partially or simultaneously. This type of research used in this research is a research with a quantitative approach, a survey method using a questionnaire. The research subjects were all people in Pamboang District, Majene Regency. The sampling method used was simple random sampling. The data used are primary data, namely in the form of questionnaires with respondents. Respondents of the study were 60 respondents. The analysis technique used is descriptive statistics and multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the competence of village officials and community participation had a positive and significant effect on the accountability of village fund management, either partially or simultaneously. The competence of village officials is influential because of the ability of village officials to manage village funds. Community participation has an effect because the higher the community's participation in managing village funds, the more accountable the management of village funds will be
