THE INFLUENCE OF PROJECT BASED LEARNING AND PROBLEM SOLVING MODELS ON STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES AT SMA NEGERI 7 MANADO

This study was aimed to determine the effect of project based learning and problem solving learning models on student learning outcomes in the material of economic activities. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 7 Manado in the 2022 academic year. The method used pre-experimental with research approach through one-group pretest posttest design. The technique of data collection was obtained through a learning achievement test instrument consisting of 15 multiple choice questions were then analyzed using the N-gain test. The results showed that the average N-gain value for the experimental class was 60% included in the moderately effective category. This shows that the using of project based learning and problem solving learning models is clearly effective to influence the increase of student learning outcomes in the material of economic activities and analyzed using the t-test. Based on these findings, the research results at a significant level of 0.05 obtained students tcount greater than ttable 2.024 > 5.545. This shows that there is an increase in student learning outcomes using project based learning and problem solving learning models in economic activity material.
